Meteorological Predictions
Damp conditions were predicted to continue along significant areas of eastern Queensland this coming days as a weather pattern continued to attract humidity against the coastal areas.
Tomorrow was forecast to be the wettest day, with persistent thunderstorm potential predicted across multiple regions of both areas.
Health Warning
Health officials alerted that there was an higher risk of epidemic thunderstorm asthma across the state's northern country region, especially given the ongoing climate situation.
This warning comes after historical occurrences where comparable situations led to major medical consequences in the area.
